Commodore 64 ROMs, Best C64 Games

Commodore 64 (also commonly known as the C64) is an 8-bit computer that was introduced by Commodore International in January, 1982 to great and remarkable market success. For a long time running (1983-1986), the C64 dominated the market and outsold the IBM PC clones, Apple computers, and Atari computers. Major reasons why the C64 was hugely popular among users was because of its content; there were approximately 10000 commercial software titles were made for the C64 such as development tools, office applications, and games. The machine is also credited with making the computer demo scene popular. Other great strategies that made this computer a favourite was that it was sold in retail stores, rather than electronics stores, these machines can be directly plugged into an existing home television without any modifications, many of its parts were produced in-house so as to control supplies and cost and in turn improving the reliability, as well as reduce manufacturing costs.
